Forth Environment Link are inviting organisations to tender for the creation of a new website.
This website aims to reflect our local food system across the Forth Valley Region - working title "Forth Valley Food Futures". Forth Valley Food Futures is an umbrella website, that brings together three food partnership groups, for Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire. These three partnerships are all members of the Sustainable Food Places Network.
These food partnerships are made up of cross sector food representatives including;
Members of the Public
Local Businesses & Producers
Third Sector Organisations
Public / Statutory Services
Funding has been provided by the UK Government Community Renewal Fund within our Falkirk Food Futures project to create a website which supports sustainable food activity for the Forth Valley region.
The objectives of the website are to:
Drive membership to the regional food partnerships.
Raise the regions profile as a Sustainable Food Place.
Attract visitors and inward investment.
Showcase local food initiatives, producers and outlets.
Promote food and drink events and festivals.
Be a platform for our regional food partnerships.
Ensure Forth Valley communities (both rural and urban) are engaged and informed about local food options and are encouraged to buy, eat and grow local or sustainable food.
Make local groups and organisations aware of funding that may be available to them.
Encourage collaboration across food sectors; business, public sector, community, third sector.
Deadline for submission: Midnight on Monday 18th July
