Grounds for Learning

Grounds for Learning aims to transform under-used playgrounds into stimulating outdoor spaces.

Green living

Want to make your home or office greener but not sure where to start? There are a plethora of books, videos and other resources available on free loan from FEL's Resource Library, and expertise from FEL's staff.

Biodiversity has a key role to play in helping us to understand the importance of more sustainable living. FEL's Biodiversity Officer, works with schools and community groups to convey this message in an exciting and stimulating way.

FEL has run several successful community projects, some of which are now running independently and on a national scale. Examples are:

Training and practical support to encourage planting in the grounds of nurseries in social inclusion partnership areas of Stirling Council.

This project ran from 2004 and 2006 and has now come to an end.
