I am building a 2Ltr Plastic Bottle Greenhouse - Can You Help?

Art and Allotments

We all know allotments are beautiful but its official now, they are art. The Compass Gallery in Glasgow in conjunction with the Scottish Allotments and Gardens Society are running an exhibition focusing solely on allotments in May and June of 2013. So why not get out of the wellies, get on the train and go have a look. Scrub your fingernails before you go. As the weegies would say "dont gie us a showin' up".

Congratulations to our friends at the Blane Valley allotments which officially opened (finally) on Saturday! Mary says, "All the plots are taken, and there was a grand work-in over the weekend with everyone helping to dig and rotovate each others plots, erect huts and get planting: brilliant".  They deserve a gold medal for perseverence!
