Erecting a small polytunnel

We are just waiting for a warm, calm and dry day to put on the polythene. This means the polythene is supple and expanded so that when the temperatures drop the polythene will shrink back to a nice tight fit. Great fun!

Mighty oaks from little acorns grow...

Our research and development facility is nearing completion...Whilst we continue to wait for planning approval, we have been erecting a small polytunnel in order to start developing Foragers Herbs (the culinary herb side of the business). Ultimately we are planning to erect 2 large 30' x 30' polytunnels on our 4 acre site near Drymen but this wee 8 x 6 footer put up in the garden of our temporary rented accommodation will allow us to start production over spring/summer this year (albeit on a…See More

Foragers Foods Survey

Hello everyone!  After completing our Whole Farm Review and Agricultural Justification reports, we have finally submitted the planning application to establish Foragers Foods.  A decision is expected mid December.Marketing efforts are on-going and I would like to ask the Forth Environment Link community to help us by completing our on-line survey.  We are targeting local businesses (restaurants, cafés, hotels, local shops etc), however it would also be great to get feedback from individuals.…See More
