Delighted to Introduce our Two New Starts into our Active Travel Team
Falkirk Active Travel Hub has recently recruited two new team members helping to promote and support more people in the Forth Valley to choose active travel as part of their everyday journeys!
Jodie Hutton joins the team as our Secondary School Project Officer which will see her working within Lornshill Academy in Alloa to deliver active travel advice and support to students, parents & staff.
Clement McGeown joins the team as our Bewegen Electric Bike Share Officer which will see him promoting, supporting and developing the regional electric bike share scheme which is due to be launched across the Forth Valley later this year.
Jodie, “I am really excited about getting started on the Lornshill Academy Project, I have always loved working with young people and getting them active so this project has presented me with the perfect opportunity to do so. Having worked closely with FEL in my previous role at Forth Valley College, I was very excited to join the team.”
Clement, “I am really excited to join the FEL Team, and I greatly look forward to the opportunity to promote and facilitate cycling in the Forth Valley Region through the development of the Bewegen E-bike share system. I think this project has huge potential because there is an ever-growing interest in sustainable travel and electric bikes in the UK at the moment.”
We’re really excited to have Jodie & Clement joining the team here in Falkirk, helping us to spread our active travel message both in Falkirk and throughout the wider Forth Valley. Be sure to say ‘Hi’ and have a chat with them when you see them in the hub or out and about!
