FEL Falkirk 

Forth Environment Link is looking for a dynamic team to work as part of a Big Lottery funded project. FEL Falkirk houses a series of new FEL projects, aiming to breathe new life into Falkirk Town Centre by creating a welcoming space to shop, learn new skills and meet people.

This new team will be responsible for the community aspects of the property, making it an asset within the Falkirk community whilst also brining vital volunteering and employability training aspects to the people of Falkirk.

 

Project Coordinator (Community Engagement) – FEL Falkirk 

Working as part of the FEL Falkirk Team, you will work to coordinate and deliver a community volunteering & training development program, as well as managing the community aspects of the Falkirk property within Falkirk Town Centre. The post is fixed term until 31st March 2021.

Project Officer (Volunteering/Training) – FEL Falkirk 

Working as part of the FEL Falkirk Team, you will work to deliver a volunteer and training program for locals across Falkirk; and assist with the running of the FEL Falkirk community spaces. The post is fixed term until 31st March 2021.

Falkirk Active Travel Hub 

Forth Environment Link is looking for a motivated active travel ambassador to work as part of the Falkirk Active Travel Hub, funded through the European Regional Development Funds Low Carbon Travel & Transport Funding in partnership with Falkirk Council. Based in Falkirk Town Centre, the Hub is be a focal point for engaging with the local community and visitors to the area to advise upon and promote all aspects of active travel that are available to them.

 

Active Travel Link Officer (NHS Forth Valley) – Falkirk Active Travel Hub 

Working as part of the Active Travel team, you will work to develop and run the Engagement Activity with NHS Forth Valley providing active travel related information, advice and referral services to the staff, patients and carers at NHS Forth Valley sites. Funded by NHS Forth Valley, this post is currently fixed term for 6 months.

Stirling Active Travel Hub 

Forth Environment Link is looking for a motivated active travel ambassador to work as part the Stirling Active Travel Hub team, funded by Transport Scotland, to promote walking and cycling as means of active travel. Based at Stirling Train Station, the Hub provides information and resources on cyclin & walking; provides advice and access to training; and develops partnerships and events in the local community designed to encourage more people to actively travel.

 

Project Officer (Volunteering) – Stirling Active Travel Hub 

Working as part of the Stirling Active Travel Hub team, you will work to develop and maintain the Hubs volunteer network, in addition to providing active travel related information, advice and referral services to the public and local stakeholders. The post is fixed term until 31st March 2018, and is subject to the confirmation of funding.
